Mamma Mia Ristorante - Puyricard (Aix-En-Provence)

The service was good, but the food was not good value for money.

Nice place, lovely interior decor, but the small amount of food we were served was disappointing. My husband ordered pasta carbonara and it only took a few bites. He was disappointed and still had room for more food, especially considering the price. The Italian ingredients were okay, and the meal was fairly good, but not worth the portion size. We won't be back.

The setting was nice, but the menu didn't match the pictures I found online. The pizzas were a bit pricey in my opinion (two under €20, and the nicest ones almost €24). The escalope was good but thin, and the fries were cooked to a questionable standard. The pasta served with the meat was very good, as was the focaccia instead of bread, although the portion was a bit small. As for the Spritz, I'll let you be the judge: €12.50 when you can find it for €5 in Aix.

A very disappointing experience. The mojito was worthy of a Flunch (a French fast-food chain): mint and uncrushed lemon, sparkling water, or rather, still water—might as well have had rum and ice. The dishes were expensive for what they were. The eggplant parmesan was barely lukewarm, and the side dish, a vulgar salad with tasteless, ordinary tomatoes, lacked any parmesan. The salad was the same story: a simple ball of mozzarella on a huge bed of lettuce, accompanied by round, hard, tasteless tomatoes. In the middle of tomato season, we expected better quality for the price of the salad (€18). The artichoke hearts tasted more like canned food than fresh vegetables. It was all clearly made in a supermarket. And the focaccia that came with it... an Italian would laugh. It was very salty and very thin; far from what it was supposed to be. In short, we were very disappointed with our experience. Given the prices, we expected better quality, and we won't be going back.

Beautiful setting, dolce vita atmosphere. Delicious homemade dishes... A must-try!

Amazing pizzas and impeccable service. The only downside is the slightly high prices.

The restaurant was very good, the pizza was delicious and the desserts also looked delicious, but I had absolutely no room left!

I paid almost 20 euros for a pizza that arrived after almost 30 minutes. I wouldn't have said anything if it was good, but part of it was ice cold, I imagine from frozen food. For me, that's a no-go. I can understand the use of frozen food, but serving it in this condition and for this price is unacceptable.
