This is our second time here and the pizza is perfect again: thin crust, toppings, and a generous size for a reasonable price. Friendly service, in short, a pleasure.

Excellent Italian cuisine, I highly recommend it! Especially if you go, be sure to ask the waiter Morad for whipped cream. Unfortunately, even with the air conditioning, it's 1000 degrees inside.

Food quality is below expectations or the price is far to high.

The best pizzeria in Aix for ages, still top-notch! Unbeatable calzone, half-moon pizzas to (re)discover...

Unfortunately, this was the most disappointing joint of our French trip. However, saying that, it was still a good time! Especially the cute olive and half moon pizza gimmick! One server (he has curly hair and glasses) was so nice and caring to all his customers and made me smile, even though he wasn't our waiter. The atmosphere was solid and all, but it started to rain and there was no umbrella, and he offered to move every plate and cup and everything for us. We declined, but it was so nice. Our waitress was pretty nonchalant and distracted by comparison, but she wasn't terrible. The three cheese pizza my dad got was 100% the highlight. Also, the spreadable Italian chorizo, Nduja, was fantastic on my pizza. However, everything else about my pizza and my mom's and brother's were just really mediocre to bad. The pesto was unfortunately worse than most store bought pestos for me. However, the cheese and crust was wonderful throughout, most toppings were just mediocre outside of that chorizo. This isn't a place I'd advise somebody not to go to, but I would recommend stopping by "Les fils à maman" just nearby instead. Yes, even if you're craving Italian: because their risotto is fire.

Today we chose this pizzeria in the heart of the historic center, and I have to say it was a good choice. The terrace is really pretty and the atmosphere very welcoming. The chairs, however, have a certain character of their own. Mine, for example, looked ready for a circus act. I changed it twice, just to avoid the risk of eating the pizza straight off the floor. Finally, I found the right one, and everything went smoothly. The service is kind and attentive, although it's obvious the waiters move tables frequently. Everyone is very friendly and speaks excellent English. We ordered the Julie pizza, "la plus légère," to share between two people. Let's just say that if léger means "light in weight," then the pizza has a nice sense of humor. The ingredients were well-presented, nothing flying around. But that's precisely why it was good and very enjoyable. For the main course, I had pasta with zucchini, and my colleague had gnocchi with gorgonzola. The pasta was cooked well, though not quite al dente. The sauce was creamy and good; perhaps a little more cooking water would have been even better, as the tagliatelle tended to stick together a bit. I don't know if they also used cream, but the flavor was still good. The gnocchi were good, even though they weren't homemade. Very regular in shape, each identical. Nothing serious. The house wine, twelve euros for half a liter, was a bit expensive for the quality. Eight or ten euros would have been more reasonable. The water, however, arrived without any problems. The coffee was a wonderful surprise. Finally, it was served like in Italy, short and strong, and not like the often-used Aix-en-Provence version, where all you need is bread to mop up the sauce. Here, however, it was perfect. One point less for the bathroom. With all the people passing by, it would be worth checking and renovating every now and then. The prices are a little below the average for the city center, but still in the high range. Overall a good experience. Four stars.
